The Historical phases of sex toys part 1

Sex toys like every other invention has a history. Some people started making use of the toys from some where before the current usage we have today.
The history of sex toys began with the following two phases:
The ancient period
The Middle Ages
The Ancient Period
Sex toys were first discovered more than 3000 years ago in the archives of the ancient Greek Empire. As at that time, the only sex toy available was the small dildo<\i>. In the city of Miletus in ancient Greeks, young women were known to be using the small dildo to stimulate themselves when they were lonely. Hence, sex toys were not much celebrated as many of the ancient Greeks had no time for such. They were thinkers, inventors, sculptors and doctors who gave more time to their endeavors than to sex. They had normal sexual relations with their partners.
Another area where the mention of sex toys was made is in the land of the ancient Egypt. At that time, small dildos was also used mainly by women.
The Middle Ages
The middle ages (476 – 1453 AD) was the time of the reign of the Christian religion. The Catholic Church was dominating virtually every aspect of the Roman Empire and was controlling the rest of the world in Christendom. Hence, sex was a serious taboo then. Sexual offences were punishable by death and imprisonment. Hence, the notion of sex toys or dildo was not mention at all as every one feared God and the Church.
In all, the use of sex toys in these two periods was very low. This is because of the traditional and moral believes that controlled the life of men and women of those two ages discussed.
